Private equity investments are by their nature more complex and time-consuming than the other components of a diversified investment portfolio. These investments, whether made directly into private companies or in private equity funds, require intensive due diligence and active management since the central objective of private equity is to build companies - a major undertaking for which many successful families are uniquely qualified and experienced.

Most of our clients come to us with an existing portfolio of private equity investments, often a combination of private equity fund investments and direct stakes in companies. Our clients sometimes have dedicated investment teams, often with resources dedicated to private equity or alternatives. We work collaboratively with families and their investment teams, providing customized services that can enhance the scale, capabilities, and reach of even the largest family offices.
